This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to land and construction to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
Survey Planning and Preparation:
Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
Conduct preliminary surveys to establish control points and benchmarks.
Prepare and maintain detailed survey records and reports.
Field Surveys:
Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanners.
Conduct land surveys, construction site surveys, and boundary surveys.
Measure distances, angles, and elevations with precision.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather and analyze geographical data using advanced technology and software.
Interpret survey data to create detailed maps, plans, and diagrams.
Ensure accuracy and precision in all measurements and data collection.
Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide survey data and insights.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any issues or discrepancies.
Prepare and present survey reports and recommendations to project managers and clients.
Compliance and Quality Control:
Ensure all survey work complies with local regulations, standards, and project requirements.
Conduct quality checks and verifications of survey data and results.
Adhere to safety standards and practices on-site.
Technology and Innovation:
Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and techniques.
Utilize software for data analysis and presentation (e.g., Auto CAD, GIS applications).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in surveying, preferably in construction and infrastructure projects.
Skills:
Proficiency with surveying instruments and software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Professional Surveyor (PS) or equivalent are preferred.
Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
Working Conditions:
Fieldwork in various weather conditions and environments.
Potential travel to different project sites within KSA.
Standard working hours with potential overtime depending on project needs.
