Position Overview:
As a Social Media Specialist, you will manage our social media accounts, create compelling graphic designs, and write engaging content. You will play a vital role in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions across various digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure the delivery of consistent and effective marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, and written content) across multiple social platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform strategy adjustments.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner, and foster an active community.
- Track and analyze performance metrics of social media campaigns, providing regular reports and actionable insights to improve future strategies.
2. Graphic Design:
- Design visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media, promotional materials, infographics, and other digital marketing content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the brand’s visual identity and messaging are cohesive across all platforms and marketing efforts.
- Maintain consistency in the look, feel, and tone of all design projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to produce marketing collateral for events, campaigns, and various digital initiatives.
3. Content Writing:
- Write and edit engaging and persuasive copy for social media posts, blogs, newsletters, website content, and other digital marketing materials.
- Conduct research on industry-related topics to create informative, relevant, and optimized content that speaks to the target audience.
- Optimize written content for search engines (SEO) to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts within the organization to create content that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
4. Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with other business unit members to plan, coordinate, and execute cohesive campaigns across digital platforms.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, continuously incorporating new tactics to improve strategies and results.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns, social media metrics, and website traffic, identifying areas for optimization and growth.
- Actively contribute to team brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas for improving content, graphics, and overall campaign performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management, content creation, and graphic design.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
