Raytheon’s MOD C4I System Technical Support Program is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage and administer system security, system readiness, problem resolution activities, Command View™ software and communication configuration deployment, resolution of COTS software issues, and software update verification. Work is performed locally (site-level) by AOC administrators and centrally (system-wide) by administrators using a variety of Command View™ and COTS processes and products.
This accompanied role will be on site in Saudi Arabia, primarily in the Riyadh area, with possible deployments to other sites in the country.
Training will start in Fullerton, CA onsite.
The assignment for this program is for three years, with one-year renewable extensions with additional compensation.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for interfacing with the Program office and engineering teams in Fullerton, CA on progress, issues, and problem resolution.
- Provide assistance and support to the Saudi Government Authority and Raytheon Engineering concerning system authorization, system readiness, problem resolution activities, resolution of COTS software issues, and software update, verification, and distribution.
- Ensure a consistent configuration across the entire system.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
- Experience on C2 / C4I platform.
- Experience with Windows, deploying and supporting mission critical system administration, administering Group Policies, Directory Services, and Distributed File Systems.
- Experience in administration of Microsoft Office products including Exchange and Lync Server.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 6 and above).
- Experience with security administration resources including Mc Afee e Policy Orchestrator, Mc Afee Virus Scan, and RSA.
- Experience in the configuration and integration of COTS products into existing systems.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Power Shell, C, Python, and Perl, as well as virtualization resources such as VMWare or Virtual Box and deploying virtual machines.
- Experience in computer networking (including protocols, multicasting, SNMP) and Cisco routers.
- Experience with Symantec (Veritas) Net Backup.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working in an expat / international role.
- Microsoft certification, i.e., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
- Cybersecurity certification, i.e., CISSP, CISA, Security+.
- Experience with SAP Business products.
- Experience with Red Hat JBoss Server administration.
- Experience in Oracle database administration.
- Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
