Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
He/she will report to the regional Business Operations Director and will work in close cooperation with all GE Digital regional functions and be responsible for:
Deliver operational results for the portfolio, with key business performance indicators
including Orders, Revenue, Billing, Margin, and Free Cash Flow
Manage customer relationships at multiple levels of their organization while driving successful delivery
Building strong relationship with Digital Grid Software customers and business stakeholders
Maximize cross collaboration between Digital Grid Software and other GE teams
Working closely with GE leadership to investigate, analyze, and resolve customer
issues in a timely manner
Tracking performance in key areas such as EHS, customer satisfaction, productivity and talent development. Drive operational excellence and rigor on the fulfillment of metrics and quality delivery processes.
Own OP Plan and Profit review input / output, and 4Quarters rolling forecast process
jointly with the Organization’s PMO, Sales, Commercial Operations, and other functions, as appropriate
Responsible for backlog, forecasting, pipeline and weekly tracker updates
for Digital Grid Software financials. Understand trends and drivers, and effectively communicate risks, opportunities, changes, and key gaps toward activity closure.
Own and drive a cash target (including inventory) and resolve key past dues or
collection issues
Drive improvement through the identification and implementation of corrective and
preventative actions
Assist with short and long-term business planning
Own Customer Playbooks and work with the local area sales team to develop
retention, growth, risk, and fulfillment strategies
Work with all functional and Products teams to explore growth opportunities both
providing input on what the sub-region’s needs are as well as executing offerings.
Writing and reviewing proposals including the preparation of scopes of work for the delivery of grid-based solutions.
Demonstrate EHS leadership and ensure zero deviations from plan occur
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a Science,
Engineering, or Project/Business Management qualification. A Masters Degree in a related field is strongly recommended.
Minimum of 12 to 15 years of business experience leading Operations or management of projects including the delivery of professional services
Minimum of 10 years of management responsibilities leading direct reports
Experienced with Renewable energy schemes (Green Hydrogen, PV & Solar systems)
Demonstrated implementation/integration experience of software solution projects for the electrical grid such as energy management system (EMS), distributed management systems (DMS), and geographic information systems (GIS).
Demonstrated experience in the improvement of operational efficiencies in Software and IT delivery programs.
Customer success oriented, able to bridge each internal Milestones/delivery to a
customer success with the demonstration of added value
Profit & Loss (P&L) leadership experience inclusive of short and long-term
business planning
Monitor control & mitigate financial, technical, commercial risks & opportunities
Demonstration of strong financial/operational discipline to drive the governance
and rhythm across a sub-region including the consolidation to regional and support functions
International operations experience in managing complex projects (including Turnkey
projects and large SW projects) along with the building of cross cultural and virtual teams
Strong people leadership with the ability able to manage a remote and multi-cultural team and while achieving optimal operational results
Effective communication skills addressing different audiences and influencing
internal and external executive audiences contributing effectively to promote and increase the attraction of Digital services
Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships. Customer
networking at an executive level to ease the business execution and able to detect, create and bring opportunities to maturity to support the commercial effort to sustain growth.
Contractual acumen
Arabic speaking is preferable
