Position: Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator

Job Description:
We are seeking a proficient Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator to join our fiber pipeline project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role involves comprehensive cost management and estimation for construction works, materials, and equipment, specifically for infrastructure projects such as roads and bridges.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects, focusing on roads and bridges.
• Utilize CIVIL 3D software for accurate modeling and estimation.
• Prepare cost reports and documentation to support project budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure cost optimization and budget adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contractual commitments, monitor compliance, and report variances.
• Assess supplier bids and contractor proposals, and participate in contract negotiations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of construction experience, with at least five (5) years in quantity surveying and cost estimating.
• Four (4) years of experience in the MENA region, with a strong understanding of local construction standards and market conditions.
• Proficient in CIVIL 3D and other relevant estimating software.
• Strong technical and administrative skills for effective reporting and documentation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
