We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the development of a power generation project. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing key aspects of the project, ensuring timely completion, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, financial performance monitoring and reporting, solid technical knowledge of energy infrastructure projects (with a focus on power generation), and excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Support in undertaking initial project feasibility assessments, including site selection, technology evaluation, and preliminary financial modeling.
Allocate internal resources to form and manage bid development teams.
Govern bid governance, plan schedules and milestones, and control costs.
Ensure adherence to quality control standards and change management processes.
Act as a central point of communication and coordination between different project teams and stakeholders.
Monitor, control, and report on project changes to key internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare reports to key internal and external stakeholders on key bidding and award-related activities, including but not limited to bid solicitation, evaluation, shortlisting, and award recommendation.
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
Manage document revisions and ensure team members can access the latest versions of necessary documents.
Coordinate financial close activities, including scheduling, task completion, resource allocation, and quality control.
Support the finalization of project agreements (PPA, PD, EIA, SLA, etc.).
Set up Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
Obtain regulatory approvals and permits.
Support SPV governing bodies' representatives.
Manage project-level equity and debt transactions.
