Job Purpose
Coordinates the flow of materials, parts and assemblies according to the Production schedule. Works with Managers to ensure proper resources are in place to support WIP or work to be released.
Job Description
- Releases orders into production per Production Schedule or as requested.
- Prepares drawings, Routing and other related materials to create production order packet for the floor or
- Monitors WIP in the area of responsibility to ensure adherence to the schedule and transaction accuracy.
- Coordinates purchase orders for spare parts and outside service operations and ensure the execution based on
- Reviews production needs of Assembly or Manufacturing and determines priorities of action needed for
- Assists with expediting the material movement of critical path materials and updates progress of WIP Production
- Works with different departments to ensure that routings are appropriate for work to be done.
