The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care in the community setting that assists patients to achieve optimum health. The Pharmacist is responsible for the provision and management of effective pharmaceutical care to individuals and/or families in the community or in Patient Support Programs. The Pharmacist works in accordance with established standards of pharmaceutical practices according to KSA rules.
Duties and Responsibilities" Based on the agreed-upon services and workflow, the Pharmacist provides skilled pharmaceutical services in accordance. Duties include but are not limited to:
Achieve operational excellence, minimize product loss and ensure staff safety within the Company Distribution processes.
Responsible to ensure medications are stored in the correct manner.
Keeping track of all necessary licenses both personal and company and keeping them updated as per Governmental requirements
Serves patients by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team, and monitoring patient drug therapies.
Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and counseling patients on drug therapies.
Develops staff’s pharmacological knowledge by participating in programs and training pharmacy staff, students, interns, externs, residents, and health care professionals.
Complies with Local and international laws as regulated by the MOH.
Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
Supervises the work results of support personnel.
Maintains current registration, studies existing and new legislation anticipates legislation and advises management on needed actions.
Protects patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible for having correct brand category and product layout in place.
Handling cash/credit/insurance sales and reconciliations on a daily basis.
Maintaining Retail Operational Checklists.
Following all purchasing, ordering, receiving, and transferring SOPs are followed within the pharmacy.
Completing replenishment of inventory in a pharmacy.
Minimizing expiry through effective management of stock purchasing.
Managing and minimizing regulatory risk in terms of stock recording, and labeling KSA regulations.

Working closely with the Axios staff to implement the required service(s) .
Preparing timely monitoring reports (monthly) with patient numbers and logistics as well as quality assurance reports (quarterly) for internal This includes monitoring and tracking patient files in collaboration with staff in “real-time” as patients proceed.
Maintaining and updating electronic program files, including patient and quality assurance data
Conducting administrative duties for the office
Relationships
Work closely with Pharmacy staff in KSA and other team members in the Axios group.

Educational Background and Experience
A BS Degree in Pharmaceuticals is required
At least 2 years of working experience in a pharmacy setting
Must provide evidence of pharmacy license in KSA
Excellent command of Arabic and English
Demonstrate clinical pharmaceutical knowledge and experience in providing direct patient care
