LMI TECHNICIAN
Qualification/Eduation:
- Mechanical or Electrical or Equivalent technical qualification
- 3-5 Yes work experience as LMI technician.
- Read blueprints, schematics and understand technical data of LMI systems
- Knowledge electrically, electronically and mechanically of LMI systems
- Use hand tools and trade type tools
- Experience on overhead cranes
- Experience on Invertor Drives and PLC’s
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, elevated areas and at heights
- Must be able to travel and work offshore for operation requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications e.g. Outlook, Work, Excel, Power Point
- Perform thorough inspections, breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with the services contracts or other requirements.
- Ensure that faults and problems requiring repairs are accurately identified during the inspection and service.
- Maker recommendation’s on maintenance required and/or modification to improve the systems.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate inspection report in accordance with company report templates ensure that it is signed by the customers and other responsible person.
- Ensure that work areas are properly assessed and work is performed in accordance with accepted safety procedures.
