Important responsibilities in this role will include:

Legal Analysis

Study and analyze legal issues pertaining to violations of mining regulations.
Review and interpret requests from the Public Prosecution regarding the criminalization of violators.

Criminal Report Examination

Examine criminal reports related to mining violations before submission to the Public Prosecution.
Ensure all documentation meets legal standards and supports prosecution efforts.

Financial Assessment

Assess financial objections in accordance with mining investment regulations.
Provide recommendations based on findings to inform policy decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with legal teams and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment on enforcement actions.
Engage with internal departments to gather necessary information for comprehensive assessments.

Skills we’re looking for:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, or a related field; Master’s preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in legal analysis or policy management

Skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in legal research tools and data analysis software.
