We are seeking a GCP Lead with at least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading GCP-related projects, managing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration of cloud technologies with enterprise-level SAP data systems. This role demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Google Cloud services and data warehousing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions on GCP, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Architect and manage data pipelines using Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Composer for large-scale data processing and real-time streaming.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP data into GCP and manage data flow using Google Cortex.
Utilize Auto ML and Vertex AI for the development and deployment of machine learning models, enhancing data-driven decision-making.
Implement and manage GCP-based data warehousing and analytics solutions with Looker and Dataplex for business intelligence and data governance.
Manage real-time data streaming, replication, and transformation using Data Stream.
Ensure robust cloud security with IAM and secure connectivity through VPN configurations.
Oversee and optimize data warehousing strategies, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval on GCP.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure best practices and innovative approaches are followed.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience working with GCP technologies, including Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Auto ML, Vertex AI, Composer, and Looker.
Proven experience working with SAP data in cloud environments, particularly leveraging Google Cortex.
Expertise in building and managing large-scale data pipelines, real-time data streaming, and ETL processes.
Solid understanding of IAM, VPN, and GCP security best practices.
Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing solutions on GCP.
Strong knowledge of Data Stream for real-time data integration.
Ability to design and deploy machine learning models using Auto ML and Vertex AI.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience leading technical teams and managing cloud-based projects.
Preferred Qualifications
GCP Certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or similar.
Familiarity with Google Cortex for SAP integrations.
Knowledge of advanced analytics and business intelligence tools such as Looker.
