Job Purpose:
The position is responsible for supporting the implementation of organization marketing and communication strategies through social media. The position is also responsible for facilitating the employee onboarding process.
Key Responsibility areas & activities
On-boarding & Off-boarding Management
Support the Talent Acquisition team with arranging screening checks after offers are made.
Ensure key onboarding documents are signed and returned.
Engage with candidates throughout the onboarding process to provide accurate updates.
Provide regular updates to line managers informed of any delays with onboarding.
Liaise with IT Department to ensure IT equipment is ordered and delivered to new starters.
Host HR inductions and support the planning and delivery of corporate inductions.
Ensure compliance against agreed timeframes and processes with regards to onboarding.
Offboarding is a process that completes the end of a professional relationship between an employee and the company they work for.
Whereas onboarding provides a smooth transition into the company, offboarding provides a smooth transition out of the company.
For the HR department, this means preparing all the paperwork, transferring responsibilities or looking for replacements, deactivating accounts and access rights, conducting exit interviews, and other necessary final actions.
Social Media Management
Implement social media strategies that build brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and product adoption.
Develop and maintain but not limited to blogs, video feeds, trending social networking sites (Linked In, Facebook, You Tube, etc.) and resource centers.
Create engaging social media content and posts.
Track and analyze monthly social media analytics.
Develop and deliver social media optimization (SMO).
Stay current with social media trends and best practices.
Contribute new ideas and strategies to increase social media following.
Event Planning Management:
Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, scheduling, and on-site management.
Develop event proposals and budgets, and manage expenses to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
Work with vendors, sponsors, and other partners to secure resources and services needed for events.
Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to align event goals with the organization's mission and objectives.
Communicate with participants, volunteers, and staff to ensure smooth event execution.
Handle event-related inquiries and provide timely responses.
Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement.
Create marketing materials, including flyers, social media posts, and press releases.
Manage event-related content on the organization’s website and social media platforms.
Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate event performance, including attendee feedback and financial outcomes.
Prepare post-event reports and analyses to assess the effectiveness of events and identify areas for improvement.
