ELV - Security Systems Engineer
We are looking for a talented ELV - Security Systems Engineer with extensive experience in video management systems (VMS), access control, physical security and digital signage solutions. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain advanced security systems tailored to our clients' needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement security systems using major VMS platforms such as Milestone, Pelco, Avigilon, Genetec, Geutebrück, Hikvision, and Dahua.
* Develop and manage access control systems utilizing Lenel, Nedap, Hikvision, ZKTeco, and Johnson Controls.
* Configure and optimize network switches, including industrial switches, to ensure efficient system performance.
* Prepare comprehensive technical solutions and proposals for clients, addressing their specific security needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems seamlessly and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VMS, access control, and network configurations.
* Conduct system testing and validation to guarantee system reliability and performance.
* Stay informed on the latest security technologies and trends to recommend enhancements and improvements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in systems engineering, specifically with VMS and access control systems.
* Proficiency in major VMS platforms and access control systems as listed above.
* Strong understanding of network configuration, including knowledge of industrial switches.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
* Relevant certifications in security systems or networking (e.g., CCNA, Comp TIA Security+, CCNP).
* Experience with system integration projects.
