Role Overview:
As the Director of People & Culture at Luciyda, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's people strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for all aspects of human resources, talent management, and organizational development. Your strategic vision and tactical execution will drive cultural initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, and workforce planning. Additionally, you will oversee facility management, government relations, and other key activities aimed at fostering a world-class workplace and ensuring the happiness and productivity of our employees.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Vision and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute long-term strategies for all People and Culture functions, aligning with overall business goals.
- Drive organizational design and change management initiatives to maintain a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative team culture.
Values and Culture:
- Uphold and reinforce the company's core values, ensuring alignment of decisions, programs, and processes with our culture and beliefs.
- Promote diversity, inclusivity, and emotional intelligence across the organization through targeted culture initiatives and inclusive leadership practices.
Team Building:
- Lead and develop a high-performing People and Culture team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Leadership Effectiveness & Development:
- Partner with the CEO and Leadership team to enhance leadership effectiveness, ensure executive alignment, and drive performance in line with business strategy.
Performance Management, Rewards, and Recognition:
- Implement company-wide performance management programs to identify and develop top talent, driving transparent feedback and recognition practices.
Learning and Development:
- Design and implement scalable learning and organizational development programs to enhance team capabilities and promote employee retention.
Management and Leadership Training:
- Develop initiatives to improve managerial effectiveness, providing coaching and feedback to leaders and grooming high-potential employees for leadership roles.
Capability and Workforce Planning:
- Partner with business leaders to anticipate hiring and development needs, aligning workforce plans with business objectives.
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, recruiting top talent aligned with workforce plans and company objectives.
Develop employment branding initiatives to enhance brand awareness and attract top talent.
Facility Management:
- Oversee all aspects of facility management, ensuring the operational efficiency and maintenance of company facilities and equipment.
Budgeting:
- Draft and implement staffing budgets and HR department budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Other Areas:
- Manage company ESOP from planning to tracking.
- Track and manage company assets allocated to employees.
- Handle all aspects of government relations, including document maintenance and entity incorporations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR or People & Culture Leadership role, preferably in a tech startup or equivalent environment.
- Strong background in HR management with a focus on culture, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of executing on HR initiatives that drive business success.
- Detail-oriented and disciplined approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience managing remote teams and implementing employee happiness initiatives is highly desirable.
