Job Summary: The Pre-Shipment Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of products before they are shipped to ensure they meet all quality and compliance standards. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, extensive knowledge of inspection processes, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of products before shipment to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
Documentation: Review and verify all documentation related to the products, including quality certificates, packing lists, and shipping documents.
Compliance: Ensure that all inspected products comply with the relevant regulatory standards, customer requirements, and company guidelines.
Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including photographs, measurements, and any non-conformance issues identified during the inspection.
Communication: Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to product quality or shipment discrepancies.
Problem Solving: Identify and recommend corrective actions for any quality issues discovered during the inspection process.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to the inspection process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education: A degree or certification in quality control, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as a Pre-Shipment Inspector or in a similar quality control role, preferably within the [industry] sector.
