Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire project and ensuring it adheres to the established timelines and budget.
- Coordinating with other project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and government agencies.
- Developing detailed design plans for all structural activities related to airport structures.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Verifying conformance to applicable local and international codes and guidelines in both design and construction practice.
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Identifying potential risks to the project and developing mitigation plans.
- Monitoring and managing project risks throughout the construction process.
- Implementing quality control procedures to ensure the construction adheres to design specifications and meets industry standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and quality audits.
- Proactively coordinating with other disciplines for interface matrix, making sure that structural discipline is aligned with the architectural, ICT and all other engineering disciplines
- Addressing and resolving any design or construction issues that may arise.
- Developing and managing project budgets, tracking project costs and expenditures, Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending changes when necessary.
- Managing contracts with construction firms and subcontractors.
- Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
- Ensuring that all parties involved adhere to contract requirements.
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
