**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Drink Preparation:**
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and develop new cocktail recipes as needed.
2. **Customer Service:**
- Provide exceptional service to all customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Engage with customers to understand their drink preferences and make recommendations.
3. **Bar Maintenance:**
- Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure all bar supplies are stocked and reorder supplies as needed.
4. **Compliance and Safety:**
- Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and intervene if necessary to prevent over-serving.
5. **Inventory Management:**
- Track inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking of beverages and supplies.
- Manage cash and handle transactions accurately.
6. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work closely with other bar staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with training new bar staff as required.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes and mixology techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Must be of legal drinking age and have a valid responsible beverage service certification .
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in bartending or mixology is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
