What awaits you

• Word Press Development:
  • Develop and customize Word Press websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
  • Utilize the Gutenberg plugin and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create custom Word Press blocks and fields.
  • Implement and maintain testing procedures specific to Word Press development.
• Modern Web Technologies:
  • Develop web components using Stencil JS and Type Script.
  • Collaborate on backend development tasks using Node.js and Spring frameworks.
• Performance and Security:
  • Generate static pages to improve website performance and security.
  • Deploy static sites to Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including integration with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
• Cloud Services and Future Initiatives:
  • Contribute to the transition towards a headless CMS architecture, focusing on open-source solutions and Cloud Dev Ops deployments on Azure and GCP.
  • Prepare for future initiatives, such as delivering static pages via Azure Static Web Apps and CDN (planned for 2026).
• Collaboration and Maintenance:
  • Collaborate on managing and maintaining four websites, some of which are currently on GCP.
  • Stay updated with the latest web development technologies and cloud deployment best practices.

Your profile

• Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Web/Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio of Word Press projects.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
  • Experience with the Word Press Gutenberg plugin and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, ideally in the context of Word Press.
  • Experience with Stencil JS and Type Script for developing web components.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and Spring frameworks.
  • Experience with generating static pages and deploying them to Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
• Cloud Experience:
  • Good to have: Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure cloud services.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
