About the position
The role is located at our Bucharest office and falls under Systematic’s Library and Learning business unit. As a Systems Test Engineer, you will join an agile and autonomous project team comprising 29 skilled colleagues, including a Test Manager, which are located both in Romania and Denmark.
Responsibilities and tasks
Your overall responsibility will be playing an important role in quality-assuring our releases, and you are involved throughout the development process from start to finish, working in close collaboration with our Developers, Architects, Domain Experts and UX Designers. We have a tried-and-tested development and test process that supports your work processes while enabling you to apply your expertise and personal approach to the tasks.
Your daily tasks will involve:
Learning about the processes and use scenarios within the library and learning area
Analysing development tasks from a test perspective
Defining tests and performing manual tests
Updating test documentation
Sparring with the project’s other Testers on general test strategies and techniques
Our ideal candidate
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical university
Has at least 4 years of experience in a similar position
Has experience in working with test tools and test techniques in software development projects.
Likes analysing tasks from many different angles, looking for details which might be overlooked by others
Is quality-oriented, and works together with the team to test and secure high quality
Is able to understand, analyse and communicate complex solutions
Is fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.

Preferred Skills
It would be considered an advantage if you possess test automation skills
Preferably, you have an ISTQB or TMAP certification. If not, Systematic will offer you the opportunity to take one.

Practical information:
Hybrid setup: office and remote work
Our team is based in Romania and Denmark, with collaboration and occasional travel between the two locations, so you should expect 2-4 weeks of travel per year.
