Your day to day:

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Managing and supporting a mixed environment of Vmware ESX, Windows, Red Hat, HP-UX, Solaris.
• Performing troubleshooting and error handling for O.S., Database and HW infrastructure layers. Change and problem management for O.S., DB and HW infrastructure layers.
• Evaluating new versions, firmware and patches. Implementing major upgrades and security patches regularly.
• Discussing platform evolution with vendors and design teams. Providing assistance in new projects during all stages, including assessment, planning, designing, initiation, implementation.
• Implementing security policies and fixing vulnerabilities on platforms according to the best practices and company procedures. Periodic monitoring of platforms, performance tuning, capacity planning and trend analysis.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Excellent working experience on VMware, Windows, Redhat Linux, HP-UX, Solaris (5+ years experience)
• Knowledge of Storage, SAN, Network
• Good knowledge of Tableau, Power CLI, Power BI.
• Good knowledge of automation solutions (Ansible, Git, Python)

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• University degree: faculty of Electronics , Telecommunications and Information Technology
• 5+ years experience working in a large, enterprise environment working with problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis processes
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written), Italian nice to have.
