PRM is a Fraud Detection engine, based on neural networks and database rules. It is used by banks and financial institutions to identify financial transactions sent by fraudsters instead of legitimate cardholders, based on configurable rules and spending patterns. It is designed for maximum performance and availability, being able to process thousands of online transactions per second.
As fraud become more and more complex, ACI has designed a new machine learning component used in conjunction with the Fraud detection engine; the next-generation intelligence to machine learning models and harnessing the power of the community with network intelligence.
We are currently looking for a new colleague with database knowledge to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
- Review requirements and provide estimates
- Design, develop, and maintain database related product features.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures to support application development.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization.
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
- Perform data migration and transformation tasks as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Document database designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Scan code for vulnerabilities and deliver software free of security issues
- Interact with customers for clarifying the requirements, demos, deliveries, and bug fixing. Availability for international customer travel is a plus (less than 10% of the time)
- Relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL)
- Maven/Ant/SVN/Git
- Jira/Confluence/Salesforce
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 2 years’ experience
- Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working on projects of high degree of complexity with cross-functional teams spread across multiple time-zones
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Experience in Agile software methodologies.
- Customer-facing experience
- Standard work environment
- Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
- Travel required, may be domestic or international
