Senior Sourcing Specialist As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell, you will be responsible for Fleet category strategy, execution, and results to optimize total cost of ownership across all Strategic Business Groups (SBG’s) while supporting the company’s Carbon Neutrality pledge. Develop commercial strategies for the Fleet Team, considering quality, cost, speed, service, market conditions, risks, competition, and future changes. Monitor global industry trends and supply chain flow.
Collaborate with Buying Operations and cross-functional stakeholders (ISC, Finance, Tax, Treasury) to align and support category strategy. Drive a unified approach to supplier management.
Consolidate global spend, reduce non-strategic suppliers, and move procurement upstream to add value to Honeywell.
Execute the annual operating plan (AOP) with improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
Lead competitive bids (RFP), negotiate, and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers, maximizing total cost of ownership benefits for Honeywell.
Build technical solutions with new technology and cost improvements, supporting new product introductions. Ensure compliance with company policies and export/import regulations.
Key skills and qualifications
Educational Background: BS/BA or advanced degree in an engineering-related field.
Experience: 5+ years in strategic sourcing and negotiating, with at least 4 years in indirect procurement at a multinational corporation.
Procurement Expertise: Proficient in best-in-class procurement practices, commercial agreements, and legal terms.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, RFQ Tools, and Project Management Tools.
Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Strong analytical abilities and proven negotiation experience with a focus on achieving favorable terms.
Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple projects, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
