Role Specifications The Microsoft Endpoint Management Administrator has the responsibility of maintenance and administration of Microsoft Intune for OS Customization (Autopilot) , Software Deployments, Endpoint servicing for Windows and Office (Evergreen updates) and other endpoint management activities such as tracking compliance, enforcing policies. Etc. The maintenance and administration of the environment is required to be aligned to the business standards of enterprises. Role is also expected to handle transformational changes resulting from technology transformation or modernization.
Support and Maintenance of Microsoft End Point management environment –Intune for Windows devices.
Manage Endpoint environment (Policy management, Global Software distribution, optimization, Availability and Optimal Performance).
Manage Software distribution, Patching and Compliance of end points in both Physical and Virtual environments
Configure and Deploy applications as per requirements.
Manage Autopilot process for new device build in close collaboration with stakeholder teams – End user computing, Central Warehouse teams. Etc.
Manage Role Based access in Intune environment.
Perform periodic reporting of key measurements such as patch compliance.
Handle Design Changes/Transformation/Tuning of Endpoint manager in line with changing Business requirements.
Tickets Support – Resolution of Incidents, Fulfillment of Requests and Change implementation.
Manage Evergreen process for Windows & Office – Periodic Windows feature updates and Office updates using Intune Technology.
Undertake environment optimizations and Service improvement such software deployment optimizations, improving compliance. etc
Extend Support for Implementation of Security policies concerning endpoint technologies –Intune /Windows
Interface with customer workplace IT, field engineering and 2nd level support tracks
Manage the operational knowledge and documentation in the agreed formats and processes.
Be part of technology modernization / transformation journey and contribute to technical implementation.
What we expect from you
Technical Skills
Intune Administration
Experience in managing Intune environment and administration of an enterprise Tenant.
Demonstrated proficiency with: Deploying Microsoft Intune in an Enterprise environment.
Strong Practical Experience on managing Intune environment- Autopilot, Policies, Device manage and software deployments.
Good understanding of General Infrastructure components supporting endpoints and Cloud concepts
Experience in device management for Hybrid AD and Azure AD based organizations.
Hands on experience in Deploying Windows Autopilot, Intune Policy management, Software Deployments and managing Windows and Office feature updates.
Experience in Device Provisioning, Domain Management, Role Based Access controls (RBAC)
Experience in MDM auto enrollment configurations (for Windows devices).
Experience in Company portal Branding, Terms and Conditions setup.
Experience with Windows Hello for Business , Enrollment Restriction Rules.
Creating & troubleshooting VPN/Wi-Fi Profiles
Experience in migrating AD Group Policies to Intune Policies Profiles.
Application Creation and Deployment/Assignment
Manage desktop applications – Upload, Configure and Deploy
Application deployment status & compliance reporting
Experience in troubleshooting Application Deployment Issues
Software Update Management
Software Update Deployment in the traditional way using Intune client
Software Update Scheduling via MDM policies
Good Knowledge on Update Rings implementation
Good Knowledge on Desktop Analytics
