Description & Requirements
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer who can help us automate, monitor, and optimize our development and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our applications and infrastructure. You will also contribute to the design and architecture of our systems and provide technical guidance and support.
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates the following personal attributes and qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as Dev Ops Engineer in the maintenance and operation of managed services;
- familiar with agile software development;
- experience in Azure (experience in other cloud environments e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud would be an advantage);
- familiar with the administration of modern container orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and package managers (e.g., Helm);
- familiar with use of application performance monitoring and management (e.g., App Dynamics, Prometheus);
- familiar with continuous integration and deployment concept and tools (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Sonar Qube);
- experience in Power Shell scripting;
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling (especially Azure Dev Ops) and familiarity with the Dev Ops lifecycle;
- Proven track record of practicing the Dev Ops mindset;
- successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent;
- fluency in English – project communication and documentation requires English;
- experience with Python, Java, Java Script, and .NET is an advantage.
Your future role
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring smooth and efficient operations;
- Implement and enforce best practices for deployment;
- Manage and troubleshoot issues in our cloud and on-premise environments;
- Optimize the performance and scalability of our applications and infrastructure;
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve our Dev Ops practices.
