About the role

As a Senior Backend Developer at Legentic, you and your team will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. You will be engaged in developing innovative products. This include:

• Creating effective backend infrastructure and processes to manage large amounts of data and requests
• Working on our internal, event-driven pipeline, to support additional data processing
• Help us manage and develop our search and storage engines and create meaningful interfaces on top of them".

We are looking for generalists rather than single stack specialists, with a demonstrated ability and passion for learning. Our skilled and courageous people tackle interesting problems on a daily basis, and now we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer in Cluj.

Qualifications

The qualifications vary depending on the level of the position.

• Several years of work experience with Python
• Sharing a Git Hub profile with projects is a big plus
• Knowledge of tools such as Open Search, Click House, Dynamo DB, or Cassandra
• Experience in working with AWS or other cloud vendors
• Experience working with container orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Experience using a web framework like Fast API
• Experience working in event-driven architectures
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Optional

• Knowledge of a second programming language
• BSc or MSc in computer science, data science, engineering, or a similar discipline
• Experience with data pipelines is a plus
