Ecolab is seeking a Process Engineer to work independently with minimal direction, developing procedures and directing analyses to scale up chemical processes and transfer process technology to production plants. In this role you will also investigate financial aspects of the project and make recommendations to management.

This is a mid – senior level of professional engineering in which the employee will follow prescribed procedures and conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components. What You Will Do:
Carry out investigations together with the directly involved teams to correct any defects that may appear in the technological process, as a result of which non-conformities may appear.
Develops work instructions for machines newly entered the technological process. They must include the description of the technological process, factors that can affect product quality, labour productivity and costs, emergency procedures in case of technological problems.
Works with the Maintenance and Electro-AMA department to ensure that any modification and/or addition of a new part or device to an existing or new installation is done according to the project.
Collaborates with the Production department to ensure that the correct work procedures are followed.
Is up-to-date and quickly familiarizes himself with new technological processes, new products and technical equipment, as soon as they appear in the chemical industry; This can be done through trade magazines and trade shows.
Draws up the list of shutdowns works.
Prepares reports when requested by the Technical Office Manager / Technical Department Manager / General Manager.
Collaborate with institutes specialized in design for the implementation of elaborated projects.
Is responsible for the commissioning and handover to the production, mechanical and electrical department of new works according to the procedures in force;
Proposes suggestions for improving technological processes and improving the performance of various machines.

What you'll need:
Degree or advanced degree in chemical engineering and
more than five years
of experience of working in a chemical plant.
