The Principal Agile Delivery Manager role within Technology at evoke is accountable for taking concepts to functional solutions with 1 or 2 delivery teams. In addition, the Principal ADM role has an expanded focus on departmental improvements, particularly for complex project or product feature delivery and fostering a culture of excellence.
Principal ADM’s operate beyond their own teams, working across the department and domains to identify opportunities to improve delivery ways of working, tooling, and processes. They are champions of change, advocates for agility and able to provide appropriate challenge to ensure delivery efforts align to strategic goals and overall business objectives.
The PDL will have line management accountability for a team of Agile Delivery Managers (ADMs).

What you will be doing
· Concept to Completion: Working closely with teams and stakeholders, the Principal ADM takes initial concepts, user stories or product improvement ideas. They break these down into achievable milestones with the teams, ensuring clarity, plans and alignment with the overall project or product roadmap.

Agile Champion: Principal ADMs will champion Agile methodologies, even within projects. They facilitate short, iterative development cycles, ensuring teams deliver functional features frequently and gather valuable user feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: The Principal ADM fosters a collaborative environment. They work closely with various teams outside of their own development teams (design, compliance, marketing etc) to ensure smooth integration and communication throughout the delivery process.
Adaptability and Problem-solving: Evoke Delivery embraces change. Our Principal ADMs navigate unexpected challenges, adjust priorities as needed, and ensure teams adapt to evolving requirements or technical complexities.
Project Management and Delivery Success: Ultimately, Principal ADMs are accountable for the successful delivery of their assigned projects or product features. They monitor progress, coordinate the identification and mitigation of risks, and ensure teams meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
Communication Hub: Our Principal ADMs act as an essential point of communication between teams and stakeholders. They keep everyone informed of progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones, ensuring transparency, and managing expectations.

Strategic Delivery Leadership: Principal ADMs go beyond Agile team support and project management. They align delivery efforts with the company's strategic goals, ensuring their teams' work contributes significantly to the overall business objectives.
Industry Trends and Innovation: Staying at the forefront of the industry, Principal ADMs stay abreast of new development trends and technologies. They assess their potential impact on their department and explore opportunities to leverage these advancements for improved delivery outcomes.

SDLC understanding: Principal ADMs have a solid understanding of the development process and various SDLC/PDLC process.
Communication and Negotiation: Clear communication with teams, stakeholders, and clients is essential to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
Proven Agile Expertise: Varied experience leading Agile projects and product roadmaps successfully, with a deep understanding of scaling Agile methodologies for larger teams and complex projects.
Project Management: Expert ability to organize and drive teams and resources to achieve specific goals within defined timelines and budgets
Strategic Thinking: The ability to bridge the gap between project delivery and company strategy, ensuring alignment and maximizing the business impact of delivered solutions.
Change Management Acumen: Leading teams and departments through change requires exceptional change management skills to navigate resistance and build consensus for implementing improvements.
Coaching, Mentorship and Line Management: The ability to develop and empower teams through effective coaching and mentorship practices. Developing the skills and capabilities of a team and providing hands-on line management.
Analytical Mindset: Principal ADMs approach optimization with a data-driven mindset. They analyze delivery metrics, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose data-backed solutions.
