About the position:
The Mid – Term Planning Specialist is responsible for creating short - and mid – term production and capacity plans, based on sales forecasts provided by Demand Planners. Working closely with Production Schedulers, Distribution Requirement Planners and taking part in Project Teams, Mid – Term Planning Specialist ensures the right level of finished goods is kept in dedicated markets.
You will:
- Have full ownership of short - and mid - term supply chain production requirements for a dedicated portfolio of products, leading service, inventory, waste, distribution, and taking part in product life cycle management. To manage this, you will cooperate with Distribution Requirement Planners, Factory Schedulers, Material Planners, Logistics, Portfolio and Innovation Officers and Demand Planners in your daily tasks.
- Work closely with the Sourcing Units Planning teams to ensure production plans follow frequency and sequence that reduce waste and maximize the service.
- Take the responsibility for capacity planning and developing different scenarios for your portfolio to highlight risks and opportunities alongside decision points, to understand and choose appropriate inventory and volume allocation strategy.
- Maintain proper system Master Data settings to guarantee that production plan is generated with excellent quality.
- Become a part of multi-functional Project Teams working on New Products Developments, Innovations, recipe and pack material changes.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
You have at least 3 years of experience in supply planning, preferably within the FMCG supply chain.
You understand and enjoy working with SAP planning tools – ideally with SAP IBP, but SAP APO knowledge is a great base.
You are fluent in Excel and you like working with data sets.
You will be working with cross – functional Teams, therefore good communication and problem – solving skills will help you to become successful in the role.
Additionally, fluent English is essential.
