General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Ph D in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
What you’ll be doing

Hands-on QA of feature developments.

Design and execute new tests per new requirements, and regression tests for existing ones.

Working with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Providing daily / weekly QA updates to relevant stakeholders.
What you’ll bring with you
-
Minimum of 3 years' experience performing QA in complex systems and environments.

Deep understanding of test processes and methodologies.
-
Strong background with Backend, API and Web systems testing.

Experience with SQL/No SQL databases such as: My SQL and Mongo DB.

Experience with CI tools and technologies (such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes).

Proficient in the UNIX/Linux environment.

A passion for learning and for technology, with an energy and drive to get to the bottom of things and find those bugs.

Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision, take initiative, set priorities, follow through and see tasks through to completion.

Excellent analytical skills and ‘out of the box’ thinking.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (Including in English).

BSc./B.A. degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and/or ISTQB certified – Advantage.

Experience in the cellular industry – Advantage
