The main responsibility for the position of the Learning Coordinator is to manage the deployment of several training programs within Alstom globally. This includes the coordination of training activities in different Alstom sites, communication with the participants and different business stakeholders involved in the training deployment.
The Learning Coordinator will ensure professional delivery of training sessions by following internal processes, standards and tools appropriate for planning and deployment of the sessions, including:
Managing of training requests and schedules as per the business requirement for Alstom sites in France
Deploy the training needs expressed by the sites, both via Individual Development Plan and Ad-Hoc requests, and organize the deployment with logistics support (learning coordination)
Majority of the work will be performed using Alstom’s Learning Management System, called “i Learn” (course & session creation, registration, cancellation & follow up)
Day-to-day responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction, such as immediate correction and follow-up on any detected or reported issues
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
External/Internal Training Management
Ensure the deployment of the training plan by handling requests coming from Site HR contact
Coordinate with local HR stakeholders
Ensure invitation and enrollment of the participants to the training sessions
Create dedicated items/sessions in our Learning Management System
Formalize Purchase Requests (PR) to payroll provider
Collect financing (if any available) from local authorities
Gather training proofs (Attendance sheets, certificates…) and ensure timely update of our Learning Management System (“i Learn”)
Follow-up on outstanding invoices, ensure payments to training suppliers
Coordinate with Sourcing/Finance for any supplier related topics
Support for participants, trainers, Line Managers & HR Business Partners along the process
Management of venues and infrastructure (materials, technique, etc.)
Apprenticeship Management
Coordinate with local authorities for the registration of new apprenticeship contracts
Manage financing with local authorities
Management of Purchase Requests (PR) to ensure payment of school fees and invoice follow-up
Training Network
Provide dedicated training to local HR stakeholders on Learning processes to be followed
Act as an expert in answering all training administration related request from HR stakeholders
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration)
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Customer Support, Human Resources, Finance)
Previous experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus
Well-organized, ability to pay attention to details, cultural awareness
Ability to coordinate and follow-up on multiple tasks from start to end
Highly reactive, able to manage unexpected / short notice requirements
Experienced in working with common MS Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point, PDF, “Qlicksense”, different Learning Management Systems)
Networking – excellent interpersonal skills; able to listen well and foster an open dialogue
Collaboration & Teamwork
Fluency in French is required
