Is responsible to:
Participate actively and independently in the follow-up of upstream/development projects under its responsibility, in accordance with Simulation/Validation standards and project phases;
Ensure the synthesis/reporting at the milestone projects;
Contribute to the development of industry standards and methodologies and their optimization (thermal & hybrid engine);
Promote business knowledge (patents, publication, synthesis note);
Contribute to the performance of Engineering by: - Constituting, leading and developing a worldwide network of Local Technical Leaders (LTL), which can be extended from time to time to supplier correspondents - Assuring the role of business support for the RTx development teams - Ensuring feedback from its network to the Business.
MAIN ACTIVITIES: On his/her perimeter, he/she
Recommends or contributes to the technical definitions of the Cylinder Head, Air Intake System, Exhaust, Exhaust Gas Recirculation Systems (EGR) and to the optimization of the depollution control system during application on the vehicle platform or in the engine compartment;
Develops action plans to provide answers to projects;
Organizes and follows related test benches;
Performs simulations, validation test benches (permeability, acoustic tuning);
Performs reporting to projects and guarantees the one voice opinion at project milestones;
Capitalizes the “know-how” via the synthesis of results: Technical Note, Technical Committee
SCOPE OF ACTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates on the technical definition for: Cylinder Head, Air Intake, Exhaust, Exhaust Gas Recirculation ducts, in the choice of turbochargers, distribution systems and Air Intake Coolers and Exhaust Gas Recirculation on thermal, hybrid and electric perimeters.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT CRITERIA IN THE FUNCTION:
Achievement of the specifications demanded by the projects and justifies of any deviations;
Presenting and validation of the one voice opinion for passing milestones;
Respect of deadlines in the responses to projects;
Quality and robustness of the results provided;
What we are looking for
Licentiate in engineering (Automotive, Aerospace, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Mechatronics);
Good knowledge of engine skills and/or skills in fluid mechanics, numerical simulation, combustion and/or physical measurements;
Knowledge of test means;
Expériences en simulations (1D et 3D), Connaissances GT Power, Logiciels Conception 3D (Catia), de maillage surfacique (Ansa), Logiciels de calcul 3D (type Converge ou Star CCM), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
Fluent in English and /or French;
Well organized, curiosity, openness, willingness to learn quickly, teamwork, communication skills.
