Item Master Data Specialist
We are looking for an on-site Item Master Data Management Specialist to create and maintain the master data within the ERP system and other relevant systems for a fast-paced manufacturing company. You’ll have the freedom to find new ways to help us prepare for the future. You will work cross-functionally with all departments to ensure the completeness and integrity of the data in the system. You will also participate in process improvement projects and implementation of best practices within your area of expertise.

- Have a bachelor degree in Engineering specialization or related
- Are experienced in using Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel
- Are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to gather and maintain data.
- Are able to manage & communicate with stakeholders from different organizational units
- Are a team player with strong communication and interaction skills
- Are detailed-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
- Have a strong command of English
- ️ Nice to have, but not mandatory:
- Previous professional experience in Master Data Management
- Good understanding of Item Master Data quality and governance
- Experience in data entry applications (e.g., enterprise resource planning systems, document management systems, PIMs, Vault PDM)
- Knowledge of German language
What you will work hands on
- Create and maintain all master data activities: purchasing, sales, marketing, technical, production, accounting, labeling/identification
- Assure consistent and correct item data across all departments
- Assure consistent and correct item data across all databases
- Assure consistent and accurate identification in warehouse and production by correct labeling
- Collect all information/documents for items
- Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to collect timely data
