IT – System Administrator EPA BU
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, alternatively completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist
- At least 3 years of experience in the administration of complex IT systems
- Ideally knowledge of system administration and configuration of PLM systems
- Experience with Microsoft Server OS
- Experience with databases, preferably MS SQL Server

Experience with the use of CI/CD tools (e.g. Git, Azure Dev Ops)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java is an advantage
- Goal-oriented way of working and high IT affinity
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and very good communication skills
- Intercultural competence and experience abroad
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Very good written and spoken skills in English (C1 level)
Responsibilities
- Administration and maintenance of production- and engineering-related systems and applications
- Implementation of system upgrades and updates (client/server/database)
- Monitoring and analyzing system performance and identifying optimization potentials
- Developing solutions for troubleshooting and performance improvement
- Working closely with the business department to integrate systems, processes and customizations
- Full integration in the international team being responsible for engineering and production applications (global responsibility)
