Responsibilities:
Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC).
Prepare the design specifications, documentation, and effort estimations.
Clarify the technical requirements within the project teams as well as with customers and suppliers.
Implement control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
Skills and requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or a related field of study
Long term professional experience of energy and control technology
Good knowledge in converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed loop controls
Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
