In this role, you will be responsible for excellent field sales execution in the assigned territories, managing the field sales force.Provide ongoing support to high value clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service. Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts. Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships. Implement and control agreed measures in Your assigned group of key accounts; measures include merchandising activities, product placements and special sales promotions assigned to key accounts.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
Work closely with marketing teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and promotions.
Team Leadership and Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of area sales managers and field sales representatives.
Set clear sales targets and objectives for the team.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of field sales force, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve results.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on sales metrics, such as revenue, volume, and profitability.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Conduct regular performance reviews and sales meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.
Ensure that sales representatives are effectively managing customer accounts and providing excellent service.
Address customer complaints or issues promptly and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
Field Operations Management:
Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the sales force, including territory management and route planning.
Ensure that sales representatives have the necessary tools, resources, and support to perform their duties effectively.
Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Communicate company goals, objectives, and updates to the sales team.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to support overall business goals.
Budget and Expense Management:
Develop and manage the sales department budget.
Monitor and control expenses to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
Approve and track expenditures related to sales activities.
