CFO BU PT (m/f/d)

As CFO of the Power Transformers business unit at SGB-SMIT Group, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis and control to ensure that the business unit achieves its financial targets.


Your tasks:

• Creation of detailed financial plans and budgets
  
• Regular review of financial performance and implementation of variance analysis
  
• Development and implementation of growth strategies to drive business growth
  
• Monitoring accounting operations and ensuring regulatory compliance
  
• Preparation of financial reports and forecasts for management
  
• Optimizing cost structures and increasing efficiency
  
• Managing capital projects and capital management
  
• Working with external auditors and tax advisors
  
• Harmonizing financial reporting, cost accounting and management planning
• Active participation and definition of the BU-PT conditions within the BPO project
• Risk management and implementation of internal control systems
• Support with mergers and acquisitions
  
• Management and development of the finance team

What you bring:

• Degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
  
• Several years of professional experience in a senior finance position, ideally as CFO or in a comparable position.
• Extensive knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  
• Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Experience in working with financial management software (e.g. SAP).
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
