What to expect:
- Perform CFD and thermal analysis for mechanical systems. Provide design engineering services for automotive components and subsystems.
- Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and thermal simulations in the fields of vehicle interior & exterior, lighting systems, under hood thermal management, HVAC systems.
- Validation and verification of CFD solutions and / or matching to experimental data.
- Support Design team in product design and development activities.
- Provide effective design solutions to optimize product functionality, reliability and stability. Perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements.
- Using computer programs such as Math CAD, MATLAB, Ansa, ANSYS to build models that simulate real-life events and conditions
- Creating computer models of products and processes to test design concepts and simulate performance before they are built or used.
- Analyzing complex data to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and other trends.
- Examining and testing prototypes to ensure that they meet design specifications
- Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results.
- Maintain complete documentations for CFD analysis and engineering methods.
What you bring along:
-
M.Sc./M.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline required.
- Practical design knowledge with CATIA V5 (Part Design and Generative Shape Design).
- CAE modelling experience or simulation with Ansa or comparable software.
- Independent and structured way of working, quick perception, reliability, sense of responsibility and assertiveness.
- Strong ability to analyze technical problems in a solution-oriented manner.
- Good communication skills in English (German skills are an advantage).
