Main responsibilities

• Collaborates with software project development and implementation teams, in order to understand business software requirements
• It is documented regarding the aspects of networking and the practices specific to cyber security.
• Participate in system monitoring, debugging and tuning (software products/operating systems)
• Participate in the integration and assembly of software components
• Configure, install and test software applications
• Performs administration activities (user management, process management, package installation)
• Create basic queries of relational databases
• Performs application administration and monitoring activities
• Participate in database installation and configuration
• Configure windows or Linux servers
• Develop and maintain thorough technical knowledge of product specifications, operations and diagnostics, maintaining familiarity with competing products
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, administration and tuning of systems (software products, operating systems and hardware)
• Participating in project planning, requirements and needs gathering, development, testing, implementation, training and support when needed

General responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day activities (individual or team), according to the job description and GE management requests, respecting the required performance level
• Participates in all meetings where his function is necessary
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Comply with the provisions of the GE document "Spirit & the Letter"
• Acts in accordance with the GE Vernova Way principles

Some experience with GE products is required.

Responsibilities for occupational health and safety (OSH) and emergency situations (SU)

• To come to work fit from a physical and mental point of view, and equipped according to the equipment provided by the employer.
• To appear for the periodic medical control of occupational medicine, on the dates established by the company.
• To correctly use machines, equipment, tools, dangerous substances, transport equipment and other means of production;
• Correctly use the individual protective equipment provided and, after use, return it or place it in the place intended for storage;
• To prevent the decommissioning, modification, change or arbitrary removal of own security devices, especially of machines, equipment, tools, technical installations and buildings, and to use these devices correctly;
• To immediately communicate to the manager of the workplace and the designated Worker any work situation that they have good reasons to consider a danger to the safety and health of the workers, as well as any deficiency in the protection systems;
• To inform the manager of the workplace and the appointed Worker of the accidents suffered by himself and/or other workers;
• Cooperate with the employer and/or the designated workers, as long as necessary, to make it possible to carry out any measures or requirements ordered by labor inspectors and health inspectors, for the protection of workers' health and safety;
• To cooperate, as long as necessary, with the employer and/or with the designated workers, to allow the employer to ensure that the work environment and working conditions are safe and without risks for safety and health, in his field of activity;
• To acquire and respect the provisions of the legislation in the field of safety and health at work and of emergency situations and their application measures;
• To give the relations requested by labor inspectors and health inspectors;
• Not to carry out unauthorized maneuvers or unauthorized changes to fire protection systems and installations;
• To communicate, immediately after the finding, to the manager of the workplace and the designated Worker, emergency situations, any violation of fire protection and civil defense rules or any situation determined by him to be a fire hazard, as well as any defect notified to fire protection systems and installations;
• To cooperate with the specialized technical framework, which has attributions in the field of fire protection, in order to carry out fire protection measures;
• To act, in accordance with the procedures established at the workplace, in the event of any imminent fire hazard;
• To provide the authorized persons with all the data and information of which he is aware, related to the occurrence of fires.
• To study, acquire and apply the fire protection and civil defense instructions.
