1. Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair & maintain marine air conditioning systems, refrigeration units & Electrical systems on boats and ships. 2. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues related to HVAC systems, electrical circuits, wiring & control panels using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. 3. Electrical System Upgrades: Upgrade and modify electrical systems, including power distribution, battery 4. management & navigation lighting, ensuring compliance with marine standards. 5. AC System Service: Perform routine servicing of air conditioning units, including refrigerant checks, 6. cleaning filters, replacing components, and ensuring optimal cooling efficiency. 7. Wiring and Circuit Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring, circuits, fuses, and switches in both AC and DC systems. 8. Generator and Power Systems: Inspect, service, and repair marine generators and auxiliary power systems, ensuring smooth power supply to all onboard electrical systems. 9. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety regulations and marine standards while working in confined spaces, ensuring proper grounding and insulation of electrical components. 10. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system configurations for future reference and compliance audits. 11. Collaboration: Work closely with other marine technicians, engineers, and crew members to ensure smooth operation and timely repairs or installations. 12. Customer Service: Interact with boat owners, captains, and clients to explain repair needs, cost estimates, and the operation of new or repaired systems. 13. Testing and Commissioning: Test newly installed or repaired systems for proper functionality, including HVAC systems, control panels, and electrical components. 14. Emergency Repairs: Respond to urgent service calls, perform emergency troubleshooting, and make necessary repairs to ensure the safety and functionality of the vessel.
