Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and certified Electrical Engineer (Grade A) specializing in ICT/ELV systems to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of ICT/ELV systems, with a particular focus on CCTV, structured cabling, and ICT infrastructure. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, ELV systems, and compliance with local and international standards.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and certified Electrical Engineer (Grade A) specializing in ICT/ELV systems to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of ICT/ELV systems, with a particular focus on CCTV, structured cabling, and ICT infrastructure. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, ELV systems, and compliance with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering:
- Develop and design comprehensive ICT/ELV systems, including CCTV, access control and other extra low-voltage systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical designs and drawings for ICT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to Qatari and international standards (e.g., QCS, TIA).
- Oversee the integration of ICT/ELV systems with existing electrical and communication systems.
- Supervision
- Review of CCTV/ICT material submittals & shop Drawings
- Ensure compliance of engineering documents as per project specification and requirements.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct site inspections to verify that all ICT/ELV installations comply with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Ensure all systems meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Interior (MOI) for CCTV installations in Qatar.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Client Engagement:
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on ICT/ELV system solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, progress reports, and project documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians involved in ICT/ELV projects.
- Conduct training sessions for the operation and maintenance of installed systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: Grade A certification from the Qatar Engineers Association (MMUP/UPDA) is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ICT/ELV systems engineering, with a strong focus on CCTV and ICT infrastructure.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in Qatar or the Middle East.
- Skills:
- Expertise in designing and implementing CCTV systems, structured cabling, and other low-voltage systems.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, BIM) and familiarity with ICT system standards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
