Senior Electrical Technician
Job Purpose:
Installation, Maintenance, and Repairing electrical Switchgear, Transformer, LV equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes, installing and servicing industrial lights, intercom systems, and electrical control systems.

Installation, Maintenance, and Repairing electrical Switchgear, Transformer, LV equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes, installing and servicing industrial lights, intercom systems, and electrical control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of 50/60MVA × 2, 132/11KV Transformers
- Operation and shut down maintenance of Ring Main Unit Substation
- 1600KVA, 11/0.440 KV, 50HZ and 60HZ transformers.
- Operation and Maintenance of Motor Generators with VFD- 3×1500KVA,
- 11kv, 60Hz and 1× 2500KVA, 11KV, 60Hz.
- 11KV Switching operation and maintenance of 1250A- SF6 and 630A - vacuum circuit breakers.
- Operation, maintenance of Air circuit breakers, 3200A and 2500A.
- 2 X 1900 KVA Emergency Diesel Generators shutdown, Operation & Maintenance including monthly run test.
- Experienced with Ref 542plus, Ret615.
- ATS operation of HV and LV system.
- Shut down and Maintenance of MV-ACS6000 Drives and LV -ACS 800
- Maintenance of High voltage Multi motor soft starters.
- Different types of UPS Up to 250kva and Battery chargers, Battery Bank shutdown and Maintenance.
- Capacitor banks-500kvar & 600kvar preventive and shutdown maintenance.
- Maintenance of yard PMS network system and Monitoring Electrical
- Network of the substation and other utility.
- Impressed current cathodic protection shutdown, preventive &corrective maintenance.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Experience working with Electrical High voltage Cable related work
- Aware of Electrical substation equipment’s.
- Preferably experience in Qatar and aware about KM regulations.
- English communication skills
- Should have a good health record – should pass medical fitness
