For our data Strategy & Architecture team, we are currently seeking for a Senior Data Architect with a solid focus on Master and Reference Data Management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing and implementing master data strategies, specifically with practical knowledge of SAP Master Data solutions.

You will:

Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive master data management strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances data quality across the organization.
Lead initiatives for managing master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies.
Design and maintain scalable data architectures that support master data management and reference data systems, ensuring integration with existing data environments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT (Information Technology), data governance, and business units, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on data management practices.
Use practical knowledge of SAP Master Data solutions to enhance data processes and provide insights into best practices for master data management.
Design conceptual and logical models in the context of master and reference data management. Ensure the physical implementation is aligned with requirements.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and data management teams, fostering a culture of data excellence.

We’re looking for someone with:

University degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology or other University degree with additional certificates
Minimum 12 years of experience in IT and min 8 years of significant expertise in master and reference data management
Solid focus on Master and Reference Data Management
Deep knowledge of key processes around Master data and reference data management
Deep knowledge of SAP Master data solutions and processes, knowledge of additional solutions (e.g., Profisee) is an advantage
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices is essential
Sound knowledge of Enterprise Integration Practices (API driven integration, Event Driven Architectures, etc.)
Experience with agile delivery practices, knowledge of SAFe is a strong plus.
Knowledge of data quality tools and techniques
Knowledge of semantics modeling (e.g., ontologies, taxonomies) is a plus
Exposure to international environment
Proficiency in English
