Job Description In a nutshell Eurofins endeavours to develop all of our software applications in-house to service and support our numerous laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions.Such activities require extensive planning and organisation which can be augmented by the use of technology. Our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will extensively be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap. Where will you be based and what business will you support? You will be based in Algés (Lisbon), and report into the Head of Development. How can you help us? Analyses the approved requirements from stakeholders (across IT and business functions) Breaks down approved requirements into user stories Liaises with stakeholders and product owners in detailing out the requirements. Prioritises the backlog of stories with the Product Owners Plan and Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups Creates project plans, scope documents, schedules and forecast for BAU projects Ability to understand and communicate KPIs to program and business stakeholders Provides timely communication on the impact of changes and decisions. Identifies project risks and issues Hosts and moderates all the Agile events of the team Improves the practices and tools for Agile and project execution Provides project progress reports to project team, stakeholders, and management Organises the support function within the team (diagnostic and bug-fixing). Excellent communication skills (in English, both orally and in the writing, including moderating meetings)
Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques (SCRUM, Kanban)
At ease with distant & international communications through several technologies (video-conferences, ticketing tools, documents and forums, phone, chat, e-mail)
Initial Education Background:
Bachelor's degree or diploma
Language skills and level expected:
English (written and Spoken) required
Type and duration of previous experience
5+ year experience as SCRUM Master (Important)
4+ year Experience as Project Manager (Nice to Have)
Experience as IT Infrastructure Support (A Plus)
Ability to adapt and thrive in a changing environment
Ability to collaborate and lead a team.
Technical knowledge:
Agile on MS Azure Dev Ops
Agile Methodologies
Agile module and Incident management on Service Now
ITIL certification
