Position objective:
Assume general responsibility for Production in order to provide products to our customers in accordance with Tupperware's quality standards, ensuring a well-organized and cost-efficient Department
Specific responsibilities

Manage the Production Department with the aim of monitoring and safeguarding the requirements of the Quality Control Department

Ensure efficiency objectives: Scrap; downtime; cycle; labor; reduction of material bloks & dirts; reduce reprocessed material in accordance with the Profit Plan and without sacrificing quality

Ensure that mold changes are carried out efficiently, with a sense of urgency and ensuring good product quality

Ensure the correct identification of products produced with sustainable materials in their different states (finish and bulk);

Promote workforce optimization

Execute the Production Control plan regarding machines (change of molds and 1st degree corrective maintenance)

Ensure that the BARCO system is used efficiently and with great reliability (scrap and stop codes)

Ensure the implementation of the new production process in accordance with ISCC Plus certification (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification)

Take responsibility for traceability and Chain of Custody in accordance with ISCC Plus certification (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification)

Devote special attention to innovation: support testing of new materials; support the development of new molds; innovation projects

Be responsible for obtaining a good result in Good Production Practices (GMP) audits

Coordinate jointly with the Human Resources Department the Corporate certification programs in Production for its Technicians

Enforce demanding standards and specifications

Ensure that the conditions of machines and auxiliary equipment are safe and working in perfect condition

Organize the Production Department with the aim of making it functional and in sync with other departments in order to ensure the Production Control plan

Coordinate Production employees in order to build and maintain a good environment and understanding between everyone

Design training programs together with the Human Resources Department in order to develop the knowledge and skills of Production employees, taking into account the assessment of training needs and Tupperware's strategy

Collaborate with the Quality Control Department in evaluating suppliers

Pay special attention to Housekeeping and safety (6S philosophy), hygiene and environment in order to enable efficiency and quality of work

Comply with the safety and environmental standards and procedures in force at Tupperware

Education & Experience:

Higher education in Polymer Engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering and related areas;

Minimum experience of 5 years, in an industrial environment, performing duties as Production Director in the plastics area (injection and blowing);

Mastery of the English language, spoken and written;

Good computer skills from the user's perspective (Excel)

Good knowledge of the ISO9001:2015 quality management system

Good knowledge of the ISO14001:2015 environmental management system

Good knowledge of the LEAN Manufacturing philosophy
