This is an R&D position designed to provide deep technical support to our SERDES IP customers during silicon bring-up and production phases. You’ll be working directly with analog and digital teams to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Requires solid debugging and problem-solving expertise and also good communication and coordination skills to drive meetings with customers and provide clear explanation of the debug direction.
Key Qualifications
Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree
Experience with test and debug instrumentation
Know-how in SERDES applications
Familiar with PCIe and USB protocol and correspondent link training phases
Excellent organization and communication skills
Self-motivation, problem solving and attention to detail are highly valued.
Preferred Experience
Understanding of analog IC design
Experience with Verilog/RTL interpretation and simulation
Test instrumentation and execution of precision measurements. E.g. Hi BW scope for jitter measurements, spectrum analyzer, bit error rate tester (BERT), network analyzer
High-speed electronics
Ethernet protocols.
