Workday Functional Consultant
Job location: Remote from Poland / hybrid from Wrocław or Warsaw
The Workday Functional Consultant will act independently and advise on or manage and build the solution configuration for large complex Workday engagements. He/she will provide subject matter expertise supporting delivery across multiple HR domains, testing and both presales and post-production engagements.
The Workday Functional Consultant could be a part of implementation team supporting Workday functional system setup or managed services team providing post implementation support for Workday instances incl. testing, and/or support data migration streams. Will work closely with the Engagement Manager, Project Manager or Solution Architect also directly with DXC clients to help create strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions.
The consultant acts as the key interface to the end user or customer. He/she will assist in facilitating high intensity workshops and supporting interviews to develop and validate functional requirements and build out the system configuration. Researches, designs, configures, tests and maintains existing and new business configurations during implementations or post-production support phases.
Responsibilities:
work directly with customers to design, build, test and deploy system configuration in HCM area
participate in the discovery workshops across functional domains
provide business analysis related to specific area(s) of functional expertise
work as a part of project team to support architecture, scoping, implementation, and post-production activities
configure and test business processes according to customer requirements and system set-up
support the data conversion and migration, integrations, and respective validation streams
develop and deliver customer-specific trainings and documentation
help clients resolve functional issues by offering valid expertise in the Workday solution
We require:
Workday HCM Certification is a must
min. 2 years of practical experience in Workday HCM technology gained during environment implementations or AMS type activities (projects, post-production support, etc.)
valid Workday certifications in other functional areas, like Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence & Leave, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, etc. are highly preferred
excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audiences, as well as to external Clients
Bachelor's (undergraduate) or Advanced Educational degree preferred
Reporting certification and functional experience
experience in Workday Security
ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
ability to travel and work from client’s office (up to 50%)
communication in any other European languages (French, German, Spanish, etc.)
