Start-Up Engineer
Are you an energetic and customer-oriented Start-Up Engineer looking to work for a global industry leader?
We are looking for assertive and independent Start-up Engineer who has good social skills and ability and willingness to learn and share expertise with others.
SMM Engineering Board & Paper Business line’s is responsible for the commissioning of paper and board machines around the world.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Elaborating testing and commissioning plan together with Automation and Mechanical Engineers
-
Responsibility for the fulfillment of technological guarantees.
-
Providing both hands-on and classroom training to customer’s personnel
-
Providing technical support to customer’s personnel during machine tuning phase
-
Supporting in factory acceptance tests when needed
-
Separate troubleshooting tasks and reporting and documenting progress and results on-site
To be successful in this role, you will need:
-
Higher education Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – preferred field of study Mechanical Engineering
-
Professional experience in organizing commissioning/start-up works at site
-
Good knowledge of technical drawing. hydraulics, pneumatics and automation know-how will help you succeed in this role.

Knowledge of MS Office tools and the Windows environment
-
Good knowledge of the spoken and written English language. Other languages are seen as an asset.

Good knowledge of the spoken and written Polish language for internal communication.

Driving license. B
-
Excellent negotiation skills and capability to work under varying pressure and in different situations helps you in this position.

Enthusiasm and commitment to work
-
Readiness for business trips. This job requires the ability to travel more than 100 days a year.
