As Logistics Coordinator you are responsible for ensuring the system data accuracy and on-time delivery of our replenishment orders between warehouses in the EMEA area and from our EMEA warehouses to other geographical areas.
You will analyze, monitor, and work with different Valmet groups to ensure efficient material flow. In this role you must be capable of effectively and accurately work on several tasks at the same time, and organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. You are in a key role to identify opportunities or potential bottle necks and participate actively in developing our distribution concept and tools supporting the process.
Key responsibilities within this role will include:

Act as a logistics contact point carrying out day-to-day activities and respond timely manner enquiries

Arrange timely and cost-effective domestic and international transportation of goods according to agreed guidelines

Prepare required documents for transportation and custom declaration
-
Identify, obtain and maintain the permits, licenses and certificates that are required for customs clearance.

Communicate and maintain required information flow with external organizations as well as internal stakeholders to secure smooth operations (e.g. documents, status updates, arrivals)

Execute activities related to temporary import or export

Store and maintain document archiving

Maintain activities in ERP system
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Min. 2 years’ experience in import / export logistics processes in an industrial environment

Understanding and experience of using ERP systems

MS Office skills, particularly Excel / Outlook / Teams

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good English language skills – fluent speaker / writer
