We are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist to join our growing team based in Poland. This position will be responsible for the tax management of various legal entities across Europe and needs to have a good understanding of compliance rules and regulations. This role will also have general ledger responsibilities, which include month-end accruals, prepayments, P&L analysis and commentary.
The role
Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
Preparation of statutory accounts to contribute to the year-end audit
Compliance with regulation and all legal requirements, including tax
Preparing and reviewing monthly VAT reporting and lodgements
Monthly balance sheet review and also some specific reconciliations
Insurance
Audit liaison
About you
3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong accounting and analysis skills (ACCA / CIMA / SKw P certificates preferrable)
Effective levels of data analysis skills and process improvement
Understanding of best practice finance systems
Knowledge of Excel
Experience in finance systems (including Oracle)
Nice to have retail accounting experience
Retail industry experience would be advantageous
Full tax and accounting qualification
English language
