Your responsibilities

• Operation and support of our in-house MES (manufacturing execution system) that is running in 9 separate instances and coordinating the manufacturing process between the company-wide SAP systems and the process control systems of the local manufacturing facilities.
• Implementation of automated solutions for release management.
• Implementation of automated solutions for platform management.
• Implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions.
• Installation of new software versions on the running instances.
• Installation of new software versions on staging other testing instances.
• Participation in daily standup or regularly meetings.
• Technologies being used:
  • Jenkins (-files), Maven, Git (Bitbucket), Linux (RHEL), Oracle DB, Jira, Ansible, REST, check MK.
  • Java EE application server (currently Weblogic, migration to Open Liberty planned).

Your profile

• 5 years'+ of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of server and network technologies.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Check MK, Ansible, Python, Power Shell, Linux Bash, Jenkins.
• Following knowledge would be an advantage:
  • Maven, Tycho, JIRA, REST, SQL.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented working style.
• Analytical and abstract thinking.
• Fluent written and spoken English, German language will be an asset.
